Sunrise Fly Fishing

Dream of catching a twenty inch (or even bigger) trout?

Fly fishing on the Bighorn River has the potential to connect you with a twenty inch trout on almost every cast. It is one of the most consistent fisheries in North America, if not the world.

The average fish is in the sixteen to seventeen inch range and nearly every day, many anglers connect to a twenty-plus inch fish.

Fly fishing on the Yellowstone River provides fly fishing in a wild, open setting. While the average size is smaller than on the Bighorn, the Yellowstone provides the food and cover to make trout very large.

Want to go beyond trout? Southeast Montana is home to a wide variety of warm water fishing. Smallmouth bass, walleye, catfish and carp are among the most common. The Yellowstone River is home to a vast array of cool and warm water species, along with other bodies of water in the area.

Let Sunrise Fly Fishing serve as a resource to fishing waters in south east Montana.
